The politics of Board
It is excellent to support your favorite representative on the Board in Glendora. And you have every right to do that. However, if you are a member of the Board, you want to be careful about how and when you can show that support. Because politics are messy in Glendora, candidates wish to access to HOAs because the communities contain a large number of their constituency. So, politicians want the endorsement of a Community. In other words, it wouldn’t be an issue as the elected officials want the best for their country. But we do not live in an ideal world, so we must be careful in showing the support to anyone.
When you decide to offer support to a candidate as a member of the Board of HOA or Condo Association, you are deciding on behalf of the community. Here are some things which a board member can’t do:
A board member cannot donate the community funds to a candidate.
A community is not allowed to post-candidacy signage in common areas.
What can be done by the community to overcome it?
Candidates love community associations because they are a significant part of their constituency. And because the candidates track the activities of their competition, it is not uncommon for multiple candidates to ask your attention. You can get involved in the political sphere through candidate forums and friend users. Just be sure that you’re careful about what the involvement carries with it.
